At the same time WBGT wishes to acknowledge the following organsiations who subsidise or contribute-in-kind to the annual Awards night held at the Borlga Theatre Maryborough around October.The WBGT Awards Night is a gala event attended by approximately three hundred people to honour those apprentices and trainees acknowledged as extraordinary achievers. The high standard of our people in training was recognised by Tom Spotswood winning the Australian Apprentice of the Year in late 2007. It is extraordinary that Maryborough, a regional centre could produce the best apprentice in the entire country.
